Authors are encouraged to submit research papers of maximum 10-15 pages or short papers of 4-6 pages describing original, previously unpublished, complete researches, which currently are not under review by another conference or journal, addressing state-of-the-art research and developments, devoted to one or more of the conference topics, formatted in style of LNCS/LNAI of Springer. Moreover, we also invite researchers who search for new tools suitable for solving their problems, whose work concerns problems involving uncertainty, and also the ones who would like to discuss their problems with some members of the rough set community. They are warmly welcomed to submit the results of their research or simply participate in the conference.
An award of €1,000 is presented to the paper judged best by PC members as a sponsorship of Springer.

Each submitted paper will be reviewed by three reviewers independently and the decision on its acceptance will be based on the results on a scale of degrees of confidence from -3 (strongly rejected) to +3 (strongly accepted) weighted by referees. In exceptional cases Conference and Program Chairs have the right to overrule the referees’ decisions. Due to editorial requirements, each paper must consist of an even number of pages.

Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS/LNAI series both in printed and in full-text electronic form via http://link.springer.com/.
Camera ready paper should be submitted with signed Copyright form LNCS-Springer_Copyright_Form.
